Burial - Antidawn

Antidawn reduces Burial's music to mere vapors. The record explores the middle ground between dislocated, mosaic-like songwriting and the haunting atmosphere of an open world and game space. In the resulting no man's land, the lyrics take precedence over the songs, lonely phrases color the haze, the austere and fragmented structure forces time to slow down.

Antidawn seems to tell the story of a winter town and something that entices you to follow it into the night.
