Flora Yin Wong - Cold Reading

Cold Reading came about after a long trip to Southeast Asia that Flora Yin Wong took with her father. It was her father's belated return to his native Kuala Lumpur, as she explains in the accompanying notes. But it wasn't a homecoming - instead, she felt "an overwhelming sense of uprootedness and the realization that all that exists is emptiness and entropy". And even though threatening chaos lurks in the corners of Cold Reading, Wong manages to create foci of beauty amidst the destruction.
