Fokular - Existence

Dark, heavy, ravishing. That is how one could describe Existence, the second album by Fokular - one of the most resolute figures on the contemporary experimental scene in Slovakia. On his second album on Weltschmerzen, Fokular reveals yet again his roots in the sludge // doom // stoner band Möbius, where, as one half of the duo, he pounds the drums. Fokular’s electronic sound is just as intense and uncompromising—filled with darkness and a creeping, mysterious intensity.

Very deep, very down, very dark—but honest, raw, and cruel as fuck. Existence would serve flawlessly as a soundtrack for urban exploration of crumbling ruins, industrial alleys, or dystopian landscapes.
