Raw, primitive and uncompromising — 'Deathcrush' (1987) is a founding document of Norwegian black metal. Mayhem's mini-album, originally released in just 1000 copies on Posercorpse Music, defined the sound of a scene before it even had a name.
From Conrad Schnitzler's electronic intro through the title track and 'Chainsaw Gutsfuck' to the Venom cover 'Witching Hour' — seven tracks of pure chaos from Euronymous, Necrobutcher, Manheim and Maniac. A cult that hasn't aged.
