Remdik - Potkany Patria Do Diery

Remdik plays energetic hardcore punk and oi! filled with catchy lyrics, distinctive boldness, provocation, and humor. The band consists of brothers who aren’t related by blood but whose values are rooted in a worldview shaped by the Boston and New York of yesteryear. At the same time, however, they remain attuned to contemporary issues that have the power to stir people’s thoughts and emotions. “The members operate on multiple fronts—both legal and less legal—within the bounds of what is permitted and necessary,” says the band, which, with this new album, repeatedly and in its own unique way emphasizes the need to highlight the challenges of today.

Sound wizard Tom Veliký handled the recording and mixing of the album during the days Remdik spent at the Futra club in Orlová. Maciej Dzikiewicz from Waiting Room Studio in Oświęcim, Poland, took care of the mastering. “Master painter Ajshenka Sadiku created a masterpiece, and the rest of the artwork was designed by the spouses and children of our unconventional family,” Remdik describes the creation of the artwork accompanying the album.
