Music for the weak.
The South London five-piece — vocalist Charlie Steen, guitarists Sean Coyle-Smith and Eddie Green, bassist Josh Finerty and drummer Charlie Forbes — began as schoolboys with a DIY ethos and influences like Eddy Current Suppression Ring and The Fall.
Out of that grit and sincerity, Shame carved a niche in the South London scene and barrelled fearlessly into the angular, thrashing post-punk of their Dead Oceans debut 'Songs of Praise'.
