Mixing alt-rap, neo-soul, and cinematic production, CHROMAKOPIA is Tyler, The Creator’s most personal and expansive album yet. Guided by voice notes from his mother, Tyler moves between ego-death confessionals, fear and vulnerability, and bursts of swagger that recall his early, chaotic charm. The record introduces St. Chroma, a masked persona through which Tyler confronts identity, family, fame, and the ghosts of his past work.

Musically, the album spans haunted guitar-driven rap, Zamrock sampling, warm gospel harmonies, elastic West Coast rhythms, and playful, cartoonish beats. Moments of self-interrogation (“Like Him,” “Take Your Mask Off”) sit beside explosive, Cherry Bomb-leaning bangers (“Rah Tah Tah,” “Sticky”) and sharp cultural commentary (“I Killed You”).
